The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it's alarmed with regard to the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused sassa on service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point created for intervention experiences a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it sassa tough for your office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and raise use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
